Window tinting has two phases — the install, which takes a couple of hours, and the cure, which takes days. Knowing both helps you plan.
Install Time
A standard car or truck takes about 1.5 to 3 hours from start to finish. Larger vehicles with more glass take longer. We'll give you a time estimate when you book.
Cure Time
After the install, the film needs to cure as the remaining moisture evaporates. In summer that's usually 2 to 4 days; in winter it can take a week or more.
Bubbles Are Normal at First
Small water bubbles and a slightly hazy look are normal for the first few days. They clear up as the film cures. Don't try to press or squeegee them yourself.
How to Protect Fresh Tint
Don't roll the windows down for 3 to 5 days after the install. Wait about a week before cleaning the inside of the glass, and use a soft cloth with an ammonia-free cleaner.
